Tino Sehgal @Enoura Observatory
Friday, October 4 – Monday, November 4, 2019
Odawara Art Foundation is pleased to announce that Enoura Observatory will host world-famous contemporary artist Tino Sehgal this fall. Mr. Sehgal is the first contemporary artist to work on a site-specific project at this unique space created and designed by Hiroshi Sugimoto. Mr. Sehgal will present an experiential piece at one of the Observatory’s areas throughout the one-month period. We invite you to come and experience his stimulating work in this one-of-a-kind setting.
Mr. Sehgal, born in 1976, is an artist of German and Indian descent, based in Berlin, who describes his work as “constructed situations”. He has exhibited at Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden (Washington D.C.), Foundation Beyeler (Switzerland), Guggenheim Museum (New York), and many other museums and galleries around the world.
