[From Hiroshi Sugimoto]
O bright bright
O bright, bright, bright,
O bright, O bright, bright,
Bright, O bright moon.
[Trans. Edward Seidensticker]
This haiku about a full moon is by the abbot Myoe. At Enoura Observatory, one can also contemplate the full moon as it rises above the horizon of Sagami Bay at sundown. With the creeping darkness, you will gradually be bathed in moonlight.
Viewing a full moon is recommended for young people. A full moon might lead to a honeymoon.
Let the mystery of the moon lead to discoveries in your heart.
